Join us for MEP2040’s next Quarterly Forum as we dive into the critical role of manufacturers in advancing embodied carbon transparency and reduction. This session will explore how we can strategically engage MEP manufacturers as partners in the decarbonization of building systems. We’ll discuss the key barriers manufacturers face in producing EPDs and how the MEP2040 network can help lower those barriers through alignment, incentives, and education. The forum will also explore leverage points for integrating EPD requirements into specifications, procurement processes, and evolving codes and standards. We’ll look at current advocacy efforts already underway in the embodied carbon space and identify where this group can align or fill critical gaps.
